The new age of Advertising
Apple are set to launch their new iAd network across Europe in December, they claim that they can make people love advertising again. With iAd, Brands are able to reach millions of people in their favorite applications, targeting the users particular interests. Not only will the ads be captivating and entertaining but will also be interactive too, with users given the opportunity to download discount coupons, recipes and brand screen savers.
Apple have taken a huge step into the world of advertising, especially when you consider the size of the their target audience, with users downloading a combined 200 applications every second. Lets hope a similar network is introduced to other hand sets.
